About the Job

We’re looking for a driven and skillful Product 2D animator to join us in bringing our characters to life! As a member of the Product Art and Design team, you’ll help shape the look and feel of our game, You will develop top-tier animations for our game that align with the creative vision set by the Product, Monetization, and Art Directors.

Responsibilities

• Design eye-catching content that millions of players will be engaged with.
• Create fluid, expressive 2D animations for a variety of characters, ensuring each movement reflects the personality and enhances gameplay.
• Design and implement character rigs, ensuring that they are optimized for a range of animations, including idle, walking, running, jumping, and special actions.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure animations align with the overall vision of the game while coming up with solutions and bridging technical limitations.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance gameplay and storytelling through animation.
• Take full creative ownership over features from concept to production and be open to feedback from peers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional animation experience required. A background in the gaming industry is a significant plus.
• Impressive art portfolio demonstrating excellent skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Spine software (or willingness to learn) and a solid understanding of 2D animation principles.
• Strong artistic skills, including a keen eye for movement, timing, and character design.
• Knowledge of relevant software: Photoshop and Procreate.
• Team player: You are accountable and dependable, help others where possible, have strong communication skills, and are willing to accept and share feedback.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
